If it is dry or the ground is frozen, you can walk around the whole of the Bokeler See ... After a rain shower you need sturdy shoes, as it can be or is muddy in places. We will test the restaurant when we can go out to eat again.

A nice hotel in a quiet location. The rooms are well furnished, the breakfast also offers quite a large selection. The staff is friendly and courteous. There are many opportunities to stroll along the lake in the area.

We had booked the pampering days for a weekend. Arrival was uncomplicated and very nice. We got a free room upgrade so that we could move into a junior suite. The 3-course menus on both evenings are looking for something comparable. Really good. The condition always attentive, thoughtful and friendly. It was also recommended to us excursions, which we gladly used. Space was also found quickly and easily for our bicycles. There is almost nothing negative to report. Unfortunately the sauna was broken, so we couldn't use it. If the booking was incorrect, they apologized and a solution was quickly found. A really recommendable short trip!

Great hotel, super nice staff and an absolutely coherent room that was furnished with great attention to detail. The lake is right next door, so you can walk a few steps or use the rowing boat. The (corona-related) rather small menu for dinner includes very good food, I had a very good carp fillet. The breakfast is very good.

We spent a great 3rd wedding anniversary with our son in this beautiful place. The hotel is highly recommended, the staff very friendly and courteous, the rooms very clean and beautifully furnished with great attention to detail, the food consistently very tasty and the location on the lake simply a dream. One night was definitely too short, we will probably spend our 4th wedding anniversary here ☺️

Idyllic house in the country, wonderfully situated on a lake. Rooms are tastefully renovated without the nostalgia disappearing. The breakfast buffet with the accompanying orange juice press gives you a good start to the day. Dogs are welcome. However, a small dog treatment in the room would be desirable. The staff tried hard, but some of them were not really courteous and quickly strained.

It was all very good. Service very attentive and nice, 3 course menu very tasty.

We were there for a closed meeting for 4 days. And would come back anytime. The seminar room was great. Very well equipped. Everything was there that was needed. The service was consistently great. Always friendly, hard-working and courteous. The rooms were great. Lovingly furnished with many details. In addition, the location ... quiet, no through road, right on the lake. We recommend!

As part of a business trip, I was allowed to stay here as a guest. The hotel is located in a secluded spot on the lake, in the small town of Bokel. It is housed in an old mill. The hotel and restaurant is evidently a family business in the classic country house style. The house is tastefully decorated. Many rooms have already been extensively renovated, here in the modern bathroom ensuite concept, and tastefully mixed with modern and country house-oriented elements. The cleanliness in my room can be rated very thoroughly, I felt very comfortable. The staff is always friendly and very accommodating. You are looked after really personally and extremely helpful here. The kitchen cooks at a consistently good level, currently with a somewhat stripped-down menu on the menu due to the Corona situation. The prices are okay, I don't find any points of criticism here either. But then I'll take it before you, due to the rural location, it is quite difficult or even impossible to make calls using your smartphone. Possibly. But is that also a pro argument if you want to relax after a long day at work? Should I travel to the region again, I would love to come back.

Nice swimming lake Unfortunately temporarily closed due to algae. But in itself a very nice swimming area Lots of parking space. Nice forest around it We didn't visit the inn. So if necessary, additions will follow.

Holiday season, Saturday and there is no coffee and cake at 3 p.m. Sometimes I wonder if there is no reason for sales after Corona. Thus, unfortunately, also fell off the list as a wedding location, sorry.

Very comfortable accommodation and quiet great food in restaurant

Very nice hotel with a huge lake on the doorstep. The decor is colonial and the dining room has a nice big fireplace. The rooms are well maintained and the staff very accommodating. Parking is right next to the main house. Very secluded hotel, where you can have time to rest. Always my pleasure. We recommend.

Superb location with vegan food on the menu

Salmon was good but the sauce for the baked potato was really fatty.

In a romantic place, right on the shore of a small lake, we found the hotel. The welcome by the friendly and helpful staff was a very good start, which was exceeded by the excellent room (junior suite) in the most beautiful way. With the delicious breakfast for the unbeatable price of 8 euros this stay was completely successful. Many Thanks!

Nice, quiet location, very good kitchen, for two people with drinks you can easily pay 100 euros, but is worth every penny. The rooms with lake view are freshly renovated, our room with terrace see pictures. When booking we were however on the facilities pointed out, the terrace was more important to us as the furniture. The owners and staff were very friendly. We drove to the port of Hamburg 40 minutes by car, to Kiel 30 minutes. For us, the Bokel mill was perfect.
